I am working on several new sections to the site. Currently I'm adding a downloads page for commonly download files that are blocked by Army internet. This new addition is mostly beneficial for servicemembers who are deployed and do not have civilian internet. Support the troops!

Everyone loves a bargain, but I don't appreciate being mailed a bootleg of an anime series and not being forwarned. I bought Tench Universe from AnimeSpectrum. Nowhere on the labeling does it say whether it's Tenchi Muyo or Tenchi Universe. All it says is "TENCHI" and something else in big Chinese characters. After having lived in Asia for three years, I know the difference between Japanese and Chinese text, and I certainly know what a Chinese bootleg looks like. To some of these websites, "IMPORTED" means they can sell bootlegs because they don't care or don't realize these Chinese copies are BOOTLEGS. But the bootleggers were kind enough to put a copyright warning on the back label.

The problem with buying bootleg anime is that the profits don't go to the actual license holders, thus the companies don't know how many people really like that anime - in turn causing them to make LESS copies of the anime.

Update: I did some research on Tenchi Universe's liscence and found that it is liscenced in Japan AND the US by Geneon (formerly Pioneer) and the liscence is current. Hmm.. nowhere on this box do I see Geneon.. or Pioneer... and there is NO Chinese liscence holder. If I were Geneon I'd take a cue from Funimation and sue AnimeSpectrum.com.

i gave three people free hosting and subdomains.. but they never used it. so i deleted them. free hosting is still open, as long as you actually *use* it. did some other cleaning up to the milblog, ect.
